Within the Murray Darling Basin (MDB) effective coordination and planning between cross-tenure, cross-border partners, is vital to ensure water delivery for irrigation or environmental purposes doesn’t create pathways of spread for high-risk aquatic weeds. A contact list has been developed to encourage sustained Basin-wide partnerships and communication between managers and facilitate future coordinated aquatic weed management.
If you find an aquatic weed, please help to prevent further spread by contacting the Weeds Officer at your local council. Refer to the DPI Weed Contacts page for further contact information.
